FLC - Cement consumption grew by 11.5% in April

According to data published by the Construction Industry Observatory, based on Cement Statistics, The monthly variation was even higher, 20.2% more than in March.

The general director of Oficemen, Aniceto Zaragoza, stated that this percentage growth has been influenced by the calendar effect, as April this year has more working days, due to the celebration of Easter Week in March, and not in April as last year”, and added that, “in fact, the figures for average daily consumption, more sensitive to the number of working days, show a drop of -8.8%”.
