Positive rates were recorded in all territories, while home mortgages decreased in Ceuta (-23.1%), in Aragon (-14.2%), and in Extremadura (-8.7%).
Home sales increased by 23.8%% year-on-year in April, as registrations rose from 40,840 in April 2023 to 50,577 this year, representing an increase of almost 10,000 transactions, according to the provisional data from the ‘Real Estate Registry Statistics’ of the College of Registrars. On the other hand, mortgages constituted on housing increased by 29% compared to the same month of the previous year, with an increase of more than 7,000 operations.
