On June 18th, ANMOPYC, in collaboration with
Technological Institute of Aragon (ITA) and Integra Technology, carried out a
workshop to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can transform
The construction and mining machinery and auxiliary equipment industry.
The event brought together representatives from cluster companies,
such as ASCENDUM, ATLAS COPCO, COMANSA, DAGARTECH, DICSA, ENARCO,
FINANZAUTO, HIDROMEK, HYDAC, IMPLASER, LEBLAN, MTG, ROQUET, and TENDO.
During the workshop, Gabriel García and Rafael del Hoyo
they analyzed the sector's challenges and difficulties and how they can be addressed through
artificial intelligence. Sergio Serrano, Technical Director of ANMOPYC,
highlighted the importance of data, stating that «data is the
combustible of artificial intelligence,» and he stressed the need to
to have quality data to develop successful projects in this
scope.
Next, the attendees broke into groups.
creatives led by Integra's Innovation and Data Services team,
composed by María Mateo, Paula Calzada, and Eduardo Revilla, and David Diez de
EN. These groups examined how AI can contribute in areas such as
predictive maintenance, equipment automation, optimization
resources and content generation.
This workshop is part of the MaquinarIA project,
sponsored by the Aragonese Institute for Development within the support program
Innovative Business Groupings. The project's objective is to revitalize
technical consulting activities, facilitating ANMOPYC partners
integration of digital technologies and advanced analytics, with a focus on
the strategic importance of data and artificial intelligence for
Innovation and operational efficiency.
