Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), a leader in innovation in critical mission vehicles and essential equipment, announced today that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire AUSACORP S.L. (AUSA), an international private capital company, manufacturer of wheeled dumpers, all-terrain forklifts, and telescopic handlers for the construction, material handling, agriculture, landscaping, and special equipment sectors. Following the formalization of the agreement, AUSA will become part of Oshkosh's access equipment division.
"AUSA's track record in producing high-quality equipment designed for specific purposes aligns with our strategy (Innovate. Serve. Advance) and allows us to expand our product offering in both current and adjacent markets," said John Pfeifer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oshkosh Corporation. "We look forward to welcoming the AUSA team to the Oshkosh family."
AUSA's products will enhance the equipment portfolio of the access division as a complementary brand that will boost the JLG® telescopic handler line, as well as Hinowa tracked dumpers and forklifts. The two companies began collaborating through a partnership agreement in 2020, under which AUSA was responsible for manufacturing the JLG® brand SkyTrak® 3013 telescopic handler.
"We are delighted to join forces with a proven partner like AUSA," said Mahesh Narang, Executive Vice President of Oshkosh Corporation and President of its access division. "The combination of our advanced technological capabilities and robust training, support, and service infrastructure will enable us to better serve customers and grow in a focused manner."
"We always strive for excellence in our products, services, and businesses," said Ramon Carbonell, CEO of AUSA. "Our purpose is to expand our presence in international markets with potential for our brand, as well as to grow in a competitive globalized environment. Being part of Oshkosh Corporation will undoubtedly help us achieve those long-term objectives."
Founded in 1956 in Barcelona, Spain, AUSA recorded sales of approximately 132 million euros in 2023. The company's approximately 350 team members and 600 distributors bring a long history of innovation, quality, and customer service.
The acquisition of AUSA supports Oshkosh's accelerated growth strategy.
