The Ministry of Industry has published the call for grants 2024 to AEI (Innovative Business Groups) with a budget of nearly 10 M€.
The purpose of the AEI support program is to improve the competitiveness of companies through the co-financing of collaborative R&D&I projects between AEI member companies that are recognized as such as a result of their registration in the Ministry's Registry of Innovative Business Groups.
The National Machinery Cluster ANMOPYC has had this recognition since 2011, which allows its associates to access this exclusive line of non-refundable grants to finance the implementation of R&D&I projects related to digital and ecological transformation.
The characteristics of this type of call make it very interesting to carry out small pilots where companies can test and familiarize themselves with new digital technologies in order to technically and economically validate their projects.
The projects of this call, due to their collaborative nature, require the participation of an AEI, acting as applicant, and at least two other SMEs that are members of an AEI (they can belong to different AEIs).
These grants are in the form of subsidies. Eligible expenses are: (a) technical personnel expenses; (b) external collaborations; (c) inter-city travel and lodging expenses.
The aid intensity for experimental development projects is 60 % for small enterprises, 50 % for medium-sized enterprises and 40 % for large enterprises. For industrial research projects the aid intensity reaches 80 % for small enterprises, 75 % for medium-sized enterprises and 65 % for large enterprises.
For this call, ANMOPYC is energizing two collaborative projects, one related to industrial cybersecurity and the other related to artificial intelligence.
Companies interested in joining these projects should contact us as soon as possible because the number of participating partners is limited.
