According to data from the Construction Industry Observatory (OIC), In May, companies with salaried personnel in the sector registered 142,420, which represents an increase of 0.5% compared to the previous month, with 674 new organizations. In the annual comparison, there was an increase of 0.4%, or 632 more companies.
By company size, in the annual variation, it is worth noting that all segments grew except for the 6 to 9 employee segment, which decreased by 0.7%. On the other hand, companies with workforces ranging from 250 to 499 professionals show the highest increase, namely 14%.
