Construction contracts grew in April

According to data published by the Construction Industry Observatory, The year-on-year rate also increased by 9.2% compared to the same month last year.

The number of contracts registered by companies in the construction sector in April was 75,446, an increase of 13.8% compared to March and 9.2% compared to the same month last year, according to the data provided by the Public Employment Service (Sepe) and that includes the Construction Industry Observatory.

With regard to the number of accumulated contracts, compared to 2023, there was a decrease of -5.9% and affected all activities, with Civil Engineering standing out, with a drop of -10%.
