All the attending parties addressed the current problem of access to housing. The meeting was attended by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez; the Minister of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, Carlos Cuerpo; and the Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez.
The government pledged to strengthen public-private collaboration to increase the public housing stock and streamlining processes to increase affordable housing”, assuring that “no State instrument to solve the problem of access to housing will be left unimplemented”, among which the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and the guarantees and loans with the Official Credit Institute (ICO) and the modification of the Land and Urban Rehabilitation Law were highly valued.
