With the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the sector in general and of its companies in particular, ANMOPYC develops various initiatives in the field of innovation, research and development (R&D&I), which have enabled the Association to position itself as a sector benchmark in this area as well.
The incorporation in ANMOPYC's statutes of activities linked to the promotion of scientific research, collaboration between companies, technology centers and universities, as well as the transfer of research and technology results, reinforces the sector's commitment to innovation as a driver of competitive development.
ANMOPYC acts as a dynamic agent of sectorial innovation, promoting initiatives that favor cooperation, technological development and the improvement of the competitiveness of the industrial fabric.

As a result of these efforts, ANMOPYC was incorporated as an Innovative Business Group (AEI) and, in 2011, became part of the Special Register of AEIs of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
ANMOPYC actively participates in public R&D&I funding programs, coordinating and developing national and European projects that promote collaboration between companies in the sector and research and technology centers, with the aim of improving the innovative and competitive capacity of the national productive fabric.
ANMOPYC also supports its member companies in the promotion of their individual projects, providing support from the initial phases of identifying opportunities and preparing proposals, to the execution and justification of the projects.
