On September 16, the OJEU published in the Official Journal of the European Union the Decision
Commission Implementing Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/2408 of 13 September 2024 on the
amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1586 as regards
harmonized standards for lift tables, machinery for the production of machinery for the
earthmoving, cranes and automatic pedestrian gates.
By means of Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1586 it is reported that
of the references of the harmonized standards that have been revised and amended
by CEN and Cenelec in support of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. In the
This Decision also provides information on the references of the standards
harmonized standards developed in support of Directive 2006/42/EC, which are withdrawn from the
Official Journal of the European Union as of the dates indicated in the
same.
With regard to construction machinery and equipment
The following standards are added to the list:
- Earth-moving machinery EN ISO 3164:2013 and its amendment EN ISO 3164:2013/A1:2024
- Cranes: EN 13557:2024
