The Center for Technological Development and Innovation
(CDTI), through its Innovation Hotline (LIC), seeks to support
to Spanish companies in the implementation of individual projects of
technological innovation. This initiative is designed to promote
competitiveness through the incorporation of emerging technologies and the improvement of the
of production processes.
Eligible companies are those legally constituted in the following countries
Spain that carry out projects in the national territory, excluding those that are
companies in crisis, certain activities in the primary sector and those related to
with the production of tobacco or armaments, among others.
Technological innovation projects include the following
following types of activities:
- Active incorporation and adaptation of technologies
and the processes of adaptation and improvement of the company, as well as the processes of adaptation and improvement of
technologies to new markets.
- Application of industrial design and product engineering
and process for their technological improvement.
- Application of a new or improved production or supply method.

LIC offers partial reimbursable grants of up to 75%
of the approved project budget, with a non-reimbursable tranche that can be
reach 10%. Projects must have a budget of between €175,000 and €175,000.
