Increases the number of women in construction by 7,500 workers, which reaches a representation of 11.2%, the highest since 2015.
According to the latest report «Women in the Construction Sector 2023», the profile of the professional employed in the sector corresponds to a 43.6 year-old woman, with higher education and of Spanish nationality.
In 2023, the number of women affiliated to the Social Security in construction increased by 7,500 over the previous year, which means a total of 154,837 professionals and a representation of 11.2% in relation to the total number of people working in the sector, the highest since 2015. This is indicated by the report ‘Women in the Construction Sector 2023’, recently published by the Construction Industry Observatory, of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción.
