The Pact for Skills, This is an essential initiative to equalize professional skills in Europe, also in the construction sector.
Among the more than 3,200 organizations that are part of the Pact, there are companies, social entities, training providers, local authorities and employment services. They all identify the skills needs in their respective sectors and implement concrete solutions through strategic partnerships.
Within the construction sector the ‘Construction Blueprint‘ project, has actively contributed to the initiative as it has promoted training in energy efficiency, digitalization and circular economy.
The achievements in 2024 have had a positive impact as demonstrated by the figures:
- Nearly 48,000 new or updated training programs.
- More than 42,000 stakeholders involved in collaborative networks.
- 84 % of the members consider the Pact a valuable initiative, especially in terms of collaboration, access to funding and analysis of training needs.
Due to the achievements of this first phase, the following has been launched ‘Construction Blueprint 2‘ continuing its commitment to qualify workers in the construction sector.
