On September 16, Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/1740 of August 13, 2025, amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1586 as regards harmonized standards for lifts, fire service vehicles and auxiliary vehicles, application equipment for coating materials, cranes, hoists, ground support equipment for aircraft, supply and circulation equipment for liquid coating materials, powered gates and barriers, gardening equipment, food processing equipment and welding equipment, was published in the OJEU.
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/1740 publishes the references of harmonised standards that have been developed, revised or amended by CEN and Cenelec in support of Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery. This Decision also publishes the references of harmonised standards developed in support of Directive 2006/42/EC that are withdrawn from the Official Journal of the European Union from the dates indicated therein.
Regarding construction and mining machinery, the following standards are incorporated into the list:
- Construction hoists for persons and materials: EN 12159:2024.
- Lifts for wind turbines: EN 81-44:2024.
- Limiting and indicating devices on cranes: EN 12077-2:2024.
