FRUMECAR will retain its brand, headquarters and industrial operations in Murcia, as well as its current management team, with Carlos Torregrosa remaining at the helm as CEO, a position he has held for the past 18 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quarza\u2019s investment will enable FRUMECAR to strengthen the strategic areas on which it has been working in recent years, providing greater financial capacity to support its international expansion, enter new markets and broaden its product range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company also plans to make new investments in technology and digitalisation with the aim of continuing to develop innovative solutions for the concrete industry and reinforcing its position in an increasingly technology-driven sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Carlos Torregrosa, CEO of FRUMECAR, this new stage will allow the company to build on the solid foundations it has established, continue growing, expand its international presence and progressively broaden its range of solutions, while keeping Murcia at the heart of its business project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transaction also marks the end of a stage for the previous shareholders, who have supported FRUMECAR\u2019s development since its beginnings more than 50 years ago and helped consolidate the company as a prominent player in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FRUMECAR currently has a commercial presence in more than 75 countries and serves a broad base of national and international customers. In 2024, the company achieved turnover of \u20ac27.4 million, representing a 24% increase compared with the previous year, and recorded a net profit of \u20ac2.2 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This growth has been accompanied by a sustained commitment to innovation and the development of proprietary technology applied to concrete production and management, a strategy that the company intends to further strengthen during this new stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quarza, meanwhile, is a Spanish investment firm specialising in supporting industrial and service companies with growth potential. It currently has 11 portfolio companies across six countries and more than \u20ac150 million in assets under management.
