June Auction a Major Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">On June 12 and 13, Ritchie Bros. Espa\u00f1a held one of the most important <b>largest online auctions in the last five years<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">In the second quarter of the year <b>there has been a change in the trend<\/b>The global demand for used equipment remains strong and has further increased its international reach even though it is down 15% from the first quarter of the year. \u201cWe are seeing an increased propensity to sell from our customers when Spain is usually characterized as a buyer's country,\u201d says Valero Serentill, Sales Director of Ritchie Bros. Iberia. He adds: \u201cThis auction has been a great success; we have sold a large volume of lots even though we are close to a European market that has an availability of newer and less used equipment.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \">A total of 2,278 bidders participated in Oca\u00f1a's scheduled online auction in June. Of these, 787 have purchased any of the 2,384 lots sold in this auction. Buyers came from 31 different countries around the world; the majority from Spain, Portugal, Poland, Greece and Germany.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \"><b>The 5 categories of outstanding equipment<\/b> The most popular items at this auction were mini-excavators (1-4.9 tons), lifting platforms, wheel loaders, vans and agricultural tractors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \"><b>Featured equipment sold<\/b> in this auction:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Volvo FH16-750 6\u00d74 <\/b>- Tractor unit of the year 2018, sold for 75,000 \u20ac (to a buyer from Armenia).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Cat 773 E<\/b> - 2002 rigid dump truck, sold for 59.000 \u20ac (to a buyer from Spain)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Porsche Panamera<\/b> - Vehicle of the year 2019, sold for 46,000 \u20ac (to a buyer from Portugal).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Hitachi ZW180<\/b> - Wheel loader, year 2008, sold for 43.000 \u20ac (to a buyer from France)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>John Deere 7820<\/b> - Farm tractor, year 2003, sold for 26.000 \u20ac (to a buyer from Holland)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; \"><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbauction.es\/heavy-equipment-auctions\/ocana-esp-2024206\" target=\"_blank\">next auction<\/a> Oca\u00f1a is scheduled to take place on Wednesday <b>September 18 and Thursday, September 19 <\/b>2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>In the attached documents you will find a report with the results of this last auction: number of bidders, buyer countries, the 5 main categories of equipment sold, together with some of the most important equipment sold in this auction and pictures of them.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los d\u00edas 12 y 13 de junio Ritchie Bros.
