DICSA Group joins the British industrial group Diploma PLC
DICSA leads now its business area focused on sealing and fluid management solutions
Dicsa is the leading company in Spain and one of the European leaders in the fluid power sector. This is due to its position as a manufacturer of stainless steel products, as well as a distributor of connectors and components for different industries.
The company has a wide international reach, with subsidiaries in Italy and America, as well as delegations in the main regions of the world. All this has enabled Dicsa to exceed 85 million euros in sales in 2022, generating an EBITDA of more than 22 million euros.
In the absence of generational continuity to carry out the company’s future project, the Carmen-Lequerica family, owners since the company was founded 40 years ago, and after evaluating various alternatives, have decided to sell their shareholding to Diploma PLC group. This will ensure that the company’s growth plan can continue.
Diploma PLC is a distribution group based in Great Britain, listed on the London Stock Market with a capitalisation level of more than 4 billion euros. The Group is made up of a diversified portfolio of industrial companies with sales in excess of 1 billion pounds in the 2022 financial year. With more than 3,000 employees, it is present in over 15 countries.
In relation to the sale agreement, Dicsa has been advised by Eklipsus Partners, Garrigues and KPMG and Diploma PLC has been advised by Greenhill, Pérez-Llorca and Deloitte.
