Establishment of the Business Confederation "Alianza Eleva"

Born from the union of eight business associations
The Business Confederation Alianza Eleva was officially constituted on April 3, 2025, at an event held at Paseo de la Castellana 179, Madrid.
This new organization emerges as a result of the alliance between seven prominent business associations in the machinery and equipment sector: ANAGRUAL, AECE, ANAPAT, ANMOPYC, FANAGRUMAC, ASEAMAC, with the collaboration of IPAF as an associate partner.
Alianza Eleva has been formed by business associations from the professional field of mobile machinery for lifting loads or people, as well as other related sectors.
The signing of the statutes marks the official beginning of this confederation, which aims to consolidate and represent the common interests of the participating entities, fostering cooperation and cross-sectoral development. The creation of Alianza Eleva is supported by Law 19/1977 and Royal Decree 416/2015, which govern employer and trade union organizations in Spain.
Guiding Principles of "Alianza Eleva"
The approved statutes establish the following fundamental principles to ensure a democratic and representative organization:
- Equality in decision-making: Each member of the governing bodies will have equal voting rights.
- Election of the president: The position will be appointed by the General Assembly.
- Collective leadership: A model based on shared leadership is prioritized over individual leadership.
- Pluralism and diversity: Transversality is valued, and members are not required to be exclusive to Alianza Eleva.
The primary purpose of ELEVA is the representation, defense, and promotion of its members' interests, with a strong focus on occupational safety and health, training, and overall support for the mobile lifting machinery industry and related sectors.
Provisional Steering Committee
During this founding event, a provisional steering committee was appointed to lead the confederation’s initial steps. The committee consists of:
President: José Manuel García Suárez
Vice President: Luis Manuel de Sancha Bech
Secretary: Alfonso de la Lama-Noriega Lorenzo
Board Members: Prominent representatives from each member association
Objectives
Following its constitution—and ahead of the upcoming General Assembly where the Steering Committee will be ratified and strategic plans outlined—Alianza Eleva is already working to enhance the sector’s representation. One key initiative is applying for membership in CEOE, as a strategic move to increase visibility for the load and people lifting industry and position ELEVA as a key player in dialogue with public administrations.
Another core objective of ELEVA is to promote the sector in order to address one of its major challenges: the shortage of technicians, mechanics, and operators.
With this historic step, Alianza Eleva positions itself as a key platform for promoting sustainable development, innovation, and cooperation among companies in the sector. Plurality and shared leadership will be fundamental pillars in tackling the challenges of the future.
