Growth in the number of construction contracts in May

According to data published by the Construction Industry Observatory (OIC), from the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), The number of contracts registered by construction companies in May was 71,957, a decrease of 4.6% over the previous month, and 10% over the same period in 2023.

Compared to the previous year, the number of accumulated contracts in the sector decreased by 6.7%. By activity, all decreased, with a 9.5% decrease in Civil Engineering.
